Today I had to leave school 2 hours
early and drive to the Mayo Clinic in
Scottsdale. Wes had a doctors appointment
with Dr. Craig Cohen, his new cardiologist,
(Dr. Halpe retired). I REALLY like him!
He was pretty upset with Wes for not taking
his Atenenol (BP medication). Wes promised
to start taking it again. He said that everything
seems to be doing good for now, but wants a
stress test done. He also wants Wes to see a
Gastronologist for his stomach problems. The
Mayo Clinic and Hospital was sooo impressive!
I have never seen a cleaner, fancier, beautiful, medical
physicality!

I bought some Utah peaches. I froze most
of them in freezer bags, but here are a few
I canned! Yum!

It was a very busy weekend with all
the family, but Tuesday morning was
wonderful to spend with just me and
Dustin. We went to Dave's B-Bque for
lunch and then walked around the
Big Bass Pro Shop. I sure love that Boy!!!!
I really missed Andra, but she had to
work and couldn't come.

This was a wonderful Reunion! All of
LaMar's family were here for Grandma's
funeral. Grandma and Grandpa Davis,
Denise, Lavon, Grandma Shupe, and Sylvia
stayed at our home - AND - DUSTIN came
from Seattle!!!

Sylvia and Lynn drove to Mesa to pick up
a new car. Sylvia brought Mom (Grandma
Shupe) with her!!!! We were in the middle of
having a huge dinner for all of LaMar's family
because Grandma Skousen passed away, but
it was WONDERFUL to have them and added
to the family!! They got here at 10:30 on Sunday
in the evening on the 14th. Sherry came over and
frosted Sylvia's hair. We stayed up until 2:00 or
3:00 in the morning visiting. It was SOOOO
GOOD to see them!!! I really needed to see my
Mother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The day before Grandma's funeral, LaMar
and I invited the entire family for a Dinner
at our home before Grandma's Viewing. We
went to the Care Home and got Anna Mae
(She lived with Grandma for years) and brought
her to the dinner also. This is a picture of her and
all of Grandma's Children (except Ron). We had
between 50 and 60 family member come. I served
Cafe Rio Mexican food, with Texas sheet cakes, and
Debbie brought a wonderful German Cocolate cake.
I forgot to take picture!!!! So I only have this one.

Grandma Skousen passed away on Sept 9th.
All of LaMar's family came for the funeral.
