Our plane landed Sunday morning at 10:30 am. We didn't get home until around 11:30 am. We had been on a WONDERFUL trip to General Conference!! Also, to LaMar's nephew, Devin Moravec's wedding.
I had a small turkey and a ham thawing in the fridge and put them in the oven when we got home. All the family was coming over after the afternoon session of conference for an early Easter Dinner.

Here all the kids are WAITING for Sherry and KC to hide all the Easter
Eggs for their Easter Egg Hunt!

Looking for Easter Eggs!
The kids had a blast having an Easter
Egg Hunt! Sherry and KC hid the eggs at least 3 times!

LaMar made this game "Snake Eyes"
with pvc pipe, golf balls, and rope. It is kind of like playing horse shoes, except you throw the golf balls that are attached to the rope and try to catch them on the pvc pipe. There are three bars and each bar is a different point.
We had our Easter Dinner a week
early since everyone was here and
Easter is so close. I cooked a ham and
a small turkey, Sherry did peas and ice, Celinda did desert and deviled eggs, Jamie did homemade rolls, Janna did a jello salad, Kirstin did a tossed salad, and Debbie made twice baked potatoes. It was very good!

This is Bryan's Sadie and Craig's little boy. Believe it or not, they are only about one week apart in age!! This little guy was born about 3 months or so early.
Aunt Debbie Papa passed out the cup cakes Celinda brought. Craig Bloomfield has THE CUTEST
little boy!! Looks like he enjoyed the cupcakes!

Here we are on the plane headed to General Conference and to Devin's Wedding. Devin is LaMar's sister Denise's son. It was such a wonderful blessing to be able to go to General Conference!!!!!

What an AWESOME FEELING to be in the Conference Center with Living Prophet and 12 Apostles!!!!! It is wonderful to watch on TV, but to be there is amazing! We sat so close to the front and it was so WONDERFUL!

The Joseph Smith Center.
After the reception Mom and Dad Davis went with us back to the Hotel in Salt Lake. We woke up early the next morning to go to General Conference. This is the Hotel we stayed in.

LaMar's sister Denise Moravec's family.

Grandma Davis and Grandma Clausen.
Denise and I at Devin's (her sons) reception. I had just finished doing her makeup and hair. She looked so pretty!
Just before Devin's wedding I did Denise's (LaMar's sister, mother of the groom) makeup and fixed her hair.
I helped Denise spray paint
over 100 gerber daisys dark
purple and light purple. We
had just finished and was
putting them away when this
picture was taken. Their was
just a few that needed a touch
up. They were beautiful.

Right when we were taking of in the airplane, Bryan called and said we had left my overnight bag in the car when he had dropped us off. All my makeup, toothbrush, curling iron, etc was in it - BUT ESPECIALLY the Wedding Vidio LaNae had made for Devin's wedding!! The baggage claim said that there was NO WAY we could have it sent later because of security reasons and Fed X was going to charge $150.00 to get it to us by the wedding at 3:30. Then when we were in the car rental, I heard my name being called to come back to baggage.
They said they had pulled some strings and would send it in the morning!! Our flight had been delayed one hour and so we didn't get into the hotel until 11:00 pm. The next morning we went back to the airport and got the bag and made it to the Wedding Luncheon on time at 11:00. Here is a picture of LaMar and his sisters, Lori, Dionne, and Lavon, brother in-law -Russ, and Mom Davis,
in the kitchen. We helped with the serving and clean up.

Tonight was our Visiting Teaching
Enrichment Night. I was called to be the new Visiting Teaching Board Member over Visiting Teaching. I have 9 Subervisors that report to me.
Gail Tietgen writes the most amazing plays and has sooo much talent. She wrote the cutest play of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" I was asked to be over the stage manager and over the costumes. I also was the Food Committie Chairman and was asked to give a message and bear my testimony of Visiting Teaching.
These ladies have beautiful talented
voices and the words Gail wrote to
the songs were awesome! This is one of the songs....

Somewhere over the rainbow - I just know
There's a sister who needs me
One who will help me grow.
Somewhere in my dream land - I'll find out
How to love her and serve her
What teaching is all about.
I'd like to wish upon a star
And Become perfect like you are
And Ready
To have the traits that I can reach
The sisters that I visit teach
My course is steady.
Somewhere over the rainbow - down this road
I'll be perfect in teaching
Reap seeds that I have sowed.

There was a cute song for the Lynn Foil (Tin Man)
and Birdie Droppings (Scare Crow)
and The Lion , etc...
It was a lot of work, but sooo awesome and fun!!

Here I had just finished getting everyone's makeup and costumes
done and then we went on stage.
I was asked to be the stage manager
and over costumes. The goofy red hearts on my head is what the Relief Society Presidency and Visiting Teaching Board member wore.
I was over the costumes and makeup for
our Visiting Teaching Play of "Somewhere
Over the Rainbow" for Enrichment. It was
sooooo goood! This is Dorothy (Audry Noble).

Lynnette Carling was the Tin Man or we called
her Lynn Foil.
