Trip to Farmington, N.M. June 2009.
Check out this huge Oak Tree!

I walked with Sylvia each night we were in Farmington (except
Sunday). I can't walk as much as she does because I have to be
careful of my problems I have with my feet, so she walked slow
with me. It was so much fun! We walked all around in her beautiful
neighborhood and on Saturday night she took us to the "River Walk".
It's a trail along the San Juan River in Farmington that is absolutley
BEAUTIFUL!

Sylvia took her little dog named "Poncho!"

My sister Sylvia's family always gets together each Sunday for
dinner like ours does. It was so much fun to see them all! We
just missed Jake. He will be home in just 3 weeks from his Mission
in Africa! We found out that Amy is expecting her fourth baby!
Sylvia works as a receptionist for her son in law, Zeke Brimhall, who is
a chiropractor in Farmington. I went to work with her one day and
watched what she does, while I was there Zeke gave me an adjustment!

I have been working the whole month of June getting 7 or 8
generations of Geneology together from my Mother, Aunt
Retha, Bertha, Eva's Records and putting into my Ancestreal
Quest program in my computer. Also comparing them to the
New Family Search website, working on it also, and also adding
pictures to individuals. Sister Bollwinkle in my ward has been
SOOOOO wonderful and has spent so much time helping me. I
appreciate and LOVE her so much! I am trying to get as much
information, pictures, etc and putting it into a book for my family
to share. I made my sisters a copy on a CD of all the work I have
done so far! I took a scaner and LaMar's lap-top to Mom and Dad's
and scanned a TON of her pictures of our ancestors and current
family and downloaded them into my computer. I also bought Dad
and Mom a Picture Frame that shows a slide-show of 600 pictures
that I downloaded of my family to put next to their chairs, so they
can watch it. They never get to see my kids and grandkids so it is neat!
Dad is 84 years old and REALLY has a hard time getting around,
BUT, he still trys to mow his yard! I didn't get a picture of Mom,
in her pretty yard. She is AMAZING!! She loves gardening and
working in her yard. She has beautiful flowers, and several fruit
trees (peach, cherry, pear, apple), Blackberry and Grape vines,
(she cans the juice), vegetables, etc.

Dad let half the grass in the back die because it was too much
for him to mow. But he still trys to do as much as he can.

I taught Mom how to make Tissue Flowers. We made a
whole vase of all different colors. She seemed to really enjoy
this while we visited.

I love being able to serve my Parents and never get to, so I
loved spending a few days pampering them. I gave them both
massages and gave Mom a facial.

I cut Mom and Dad's hair for them and trimmed Dad's mustache!

I went to the Hotel with LaMar for 4 days in Holbrook. We
went to the Snowflake Temple one night. The wind was sure
blowing hard. It is such a beautiful little Temple! Notice the
RAINBOW in the sky in the upper right!

LaMar hiked the Grand Canyon with the Priest Quorm in
our Ward on the 20th of June. They Hike to North Rim and
spent the night, then hiked back to South Rim the next.

A GRANDMA DAY!! Kelsey and Lindsey spent the night
and the next day we spent the entire day shopping, and going to
the Temple! In the evening the girls went to my Enrichment Meeting
and stayed in the Nursery, after we went to the Park! Then Sadie
came over and ALL THREE GIRLS spent the night at Grandma's!

A wonderful time at the Temple!

Sherry and KC planted a little garden just outside their house.

Saturday night we went with Bryan's family to Butcher Jones
Beach for a picnic to play in the water. The paddle boat is
SUCH GOOD EXERCISE!!! My legs were sore the next day!
Kelsey and Lindsey loved it!

This is such a good picture of Celinda and Sadie (love the hat!).
