March 1st I went to Thatcher, Arizona to my Nephew,
                           Brad and Kristin's Temple Sealing.  Sylvia and I road
                           with all the Bloomfield brothers.  It was a fun trip.
                           The Temple is BEAUTIFUL, it was a very special day.

                         We are part of an "Empty Nesters" group in our
                          ward.  It was our turn to have Family Home Evening
                          at our home, so we had a Valentine Party and Lesson
                          on Love and Strenghtening our Marriages.  It was so
                          much fun!  We had a lesson, shared fun date ideas, and
                          then Jamie made a CD of everyones favorite Love songs.
                          We had fun games, and lots of Valentine treats....
                          Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Lynn came also.

                          Wes just purchased his 1st Vehicle!  A Dodge Ram
                          1500, with only 95K miles for $4,900.  It is in perfect
                          condition and he was able to pay cash for it:):)

                                 a Valentines Dinner.  Jamie had things
                                 decorated sooooo cute!!!

    Was so fun having Aunt Sylvia and Lynn at our Family Fast Dinner!  It was   
     fun for Sylvia also, BUT at the same time VERY HARD - She was missing
     her children and grandchildren:(

                                           Between LaMar and I being sick, Mom and Dad Davis
                                           coming for a few days, Mom and Dad Shupe coming for
                                           a few days, and looking all over for a home for Mom and
                                           Dad Shupe with Sylvia, Christmas, School and etc..... It
                                          was a VERY BUSY 2 week vacation!  LOVED it though!!!

                                          Kaylee made this cookie treat for us!  She is sooooo
                                          creative!

                                   We LOVED our Thanksgiving trip to Farmington to see Mom and
                                   Dad, and Jake's Wedding.  Kaylee went with us.  She LOVES to
                                   read and so does Grandpa.  Grandpa just LOVED Kaylee.  He kept
                                   thanking me over and over for bringing her.  He loved showing her all
                                   his books and she LOVED spending time with him.

                                 I recorded a whole hour of Grandpa's World War II experiences!
                                

                                 Grandpa didn't have his teeth in but he wanted to show me what he
                                  was "Having for Breakfast!" A whole handful of pills he takes morning
                                  and night:(

                               LaMar loves my Dad so much!  He spent the whole time listening to
                               all his stories.  Sometimes I think Dad loves him more than me:):) LaMar
                               really gets into all of Dad's experiences, and they really have a good time.

                                  Kaylee and I took Grandma Christmas Shopping - and IT WAS SO
                                  MUCH FUN!!!

                                 Kaylee was a REAL HIT with Grandpa and Grandma, they just
                                 loved her so much and she LOVED THEM!!!!  She has such a precious
                                 little Spirit!

                                    We went to see Josh Hatch's new home.  He has a little farm with
                                    TURKEYS, chickens, goats, and dogs.

                                  I am making the 12 days of Christmas for my children who live far
                                  away and so Grandma Shupe made some of her Famous BOSTON
                                  CREME CANDY to give to the kids.  They will love it, especially from
                                  Sweet Grandma's hands.

                                  Thanksgiving Day at Zeke and Amy Brimhall's!  The kids were all
                                  out on the patio. 

                                Saturday was Jake's wedding.  It was really nice.

                                On the way to Farmington it started snowing in Heber. When we got
                                closer to Gallup the snow started sticking but it wasn't deep. We hit a
                                slick spot and our car spun COMPLETELY around and then shot
                                ACROSS the median and INTO ONCOMING traffic on the other side
                                of the freeway!! A huge semi almost hit us....... Anyway it was VERY
                                SCARY and I didn't stop shaking for over an hour!!  We felt so very
                                BLESSED to be alive and safe on Thanksgiving Day!  This is what it
                                looked like the next morning.  As you can see there wasn't that much
                                snow, but it sure put us in a spin! You can see the tire tracks where the
                                car came across the median.  We were not the only ones, there were
                                several wrecks and people off the road:(

                                I showed the kids how to make a stuffed CARMEL TURKEY!  We
                                stuffed it with crumbled pretzels and used pretzel sticks for the legs:):)

                               Today I taught my niece Jamie Bloomfield how to make TAMALES!!

                                         " And Jamie, don't forget the OLIVE in the middle!"
